Following the success of other BS & Beer events , spun off from the BS & BEER Show podcast, we’re building the community in our region. The intention and purpose is to provide a space for networking and technical conversation, in the context of a specific building science related topic (and quality beverages) .

Part 1: On October 28th , After a welcome and introduction from Adin and Lydia, we will hear from Western MA Heating and Cooling and 475 High Performance building supply, leading shops that take the V in HVAC seriously. We’ll cover balanced ventilation design, ducting strategy, code targets, above-code certification programs, and more.
As typical , it will be a fun, focused and technical conversation and presentation. We’ll have plenty of time for discussion and fruitful back n forth - this isn’t a lecture or an expensive conference (it’s free) !
Topics and discussion will be geared to professional trades people and practitioners.. this IS NOT a 101 ‘what is it how to’ event.
Then….. just before you check out for Thanksgiving….
Part 2: November 18th, is the ‘well then what?’ part… after the build is done, keys handed over, and the occupant(s) enter the equation. How does the ventilation system deliver as it’s designed to? We’ll get into setup and commissioning, IAQ monitoring, occupant controls, maintenance and delivering on the promise of ‘high performance’ .I’m sure you’ll bring a few stories of your own.

- 5:15 - 5:45 pm Move to the bar - Small group discussion with prompts from presenters - keep the conversations going !
